The MynxGrip Vascular Closure Device provides secure closure combined with the extravascular and patient-friendly design of the Mynx Cadence device. MynxGrip adds the proprietary Grip Technology™ to the distal end of the original Mynx Sealant. The result is a sealant that securely adheres to and seals the arteriotomy while expanding to fill the tissue tract, giving you added confidence in vascular closure.
Like the original Mynx Sealant, the MynxGrip Sealant is extravascular and the device is designed to minimize pain to the patient with no cinching, sutures, or metal implants for a more gentle closure option for the patient. The MynxGrip Sealant is also comprised of the same polyethylene glycol (PEG), a water-soluble, bio-inert, non-thrombogenic polymer that dissolves within thirty days, leaving nothing behind but a healed artery.
